Task Manager

The Task Manager is a central system utility of Eviory OS designed to monitor and manage all running application processes in your workspace in real-time. Just like a real computer’s task manager, it gives you complete control over your window allocations.

Core Features

  • Live Process Monitoring: Automatically tracks and displays a list of all applications currently open within the OS environment.
  • Status Tracking: Visual indicators show whether an app is “Active” (currently in focus) or “Background” (minimized or hidden behind other windows).
  • Centralized Window Control: Manage all your windows from one dashboard instead of searching through overlapping apps on the canvas.

Workflow

  1. Open the Task Manager to view the active process table.
  2. Under the Actions column, click the Minus icon to minimize an active app, or click it again to restore a background app.
  3. Click the red X (End Task) icon to force-close an application completely and clean up your workspace.
