Task Manager

The Task Manager is a system utility that monitors active windows and background processes within your workspace in real-time.

Key Features

  • Live Process List: Automatically tracks and lists all currently open applications (excluding itself) within the Eviory OS environment.
  • Status Tracking: Instantly see whether an application is “Active” (currently focused or open) or running in the “Background” (minimized).
  • Window Control: Direct actions to minimize, restore, or forcefully terminate applications from a central dashboard.

How to Use

  1. Monitor: Open the Task Manager from the Dashboard to see an overview of system resources and active applications.
  2. Minimize/Restore: Click the ‘Minus’ icon under Actions to send an active application to the background, or restore a minimized one.
  3. End Task: Click the red ‘X’ icon to forcefully close an application. This is particularly useful for cleaning up your workspace or terminating an unresponsive app.
